Sun in hair product?

will it really work? my hair is naturally dirty blond and i want it alot lighter. how long does it take to see noticable results? will it turn my hair red?

Sun in hair product?

With your hair color, you might be OK. It turned my brown hair orange! Not red, ORANGE. Be real careful.

The stuff is amazing! Seriously..it'll start lightening within one day. I have light-ish blonde hair naturally, and within like 3 days of using it, my hair was already looking bleach blonde..well, close, but it looked very natural! I have never dyed my hair, but I wanted some highlights for summer, and I can't say enough about the product. What works the best, is to spray it into damp hair, either in streaks, wherever you want them, or all over if you want your whole head of hair lighter, comb it all through, and then blow dry it. For some reason blow drying it makes it ALOT lighter already. Then spending time in the sun realllly brings it out. But yeah, the best trick I've found is the blow dryer. Drying it makes the lightness come out ALOT faster! Just spray it in for a few days, until your hair gets the way that you want it to. Btw..I think theres a new kind out that uses lemon juice. I think that would be your best bet since your hair is a bit darker. I think that would work better for you to ensure that your hair doesn't do anything funky color-wise. I think you'll be ok though. Enjoy!

I hope this helps!

Sun-In is meant for blond hair.

If you use your hair dryer, it would speed up the hair lightening process. However each time you dry your hair, it will get progressively lighter. How quickly you will see results depends on your hair tone, type, and how much sun/heat your hair is exposed to.

A word of caution for brunettes: It will turn your hair orangey brown.

Sun in hair product?

Honestly, use it at your own risk. It will lighten your hair, but for a price.

I had a friend who over used the product, and her hair literally started breaking off. The damage was awful! I think she overlapped the sun in applications. So if you know the risks, and are ok with it, go ahead.

Read the label, I think it has bleach in it, no? That's whats really damaging.

Good luck.

Sun in hair product?

Sun in products are really not a great idea. Because your hair is dirty blonde (that means hinnts of brown), any of the dirty part has a great chance of turning a nasty orange or worse. Trust me, this is truely from life experience. Just say NO!!

Sun in hair product?

It does lighten your hair but is very damaging on your hair. You will not be able to get color or a perm until the sun in grows out.

Sun in hair product?

I would never suggest that anyone use it. It coats the hair and makes it dry and brittle. You can't use hair dye or get a perm until it's all grown out.
