Just had my hair high lighted and it looks orange!! Help?

I just had my hair color brown with blond highlight. The blond looks like its orange. What can i do to change it. I dont wont to go back and pay more money. It was $80.00. Any advice i can do at home?

Please do not try to fix it at home. Call the salon you got it done at and tell them you are not happy. They should fix it for free. I would never let an unsatisfied client walk out of the shop unhappy.

i don't know what else to do, but for $80...i'd march right into that salon and say "hey, listen...i don't like my hair, it's orange, can you tone it down..." of course, don't be mean, be polite.

You should go back and ask for your money back and see if there is anything that the salon can do for free to reverse it. Don't let them make you pay for something else. Be aggressive girl!!

You can buy some of the purple/blue shampoo and conditioner that is out there. It will tone it down some. I find if it isn't too orange that usually is all it really needs.

I agree I would definitely go back and tell them you HATE that colour and to fix it. If you said blonde they should give you blonde. I hate those awful orange streaks they give brunettes all the time. I have pure BLONDE put in mine and I'm a brunette, the difference is she does it so thin and also puts in another reddy brown colour so that it ends up being 3 toned and not two....that is what makes it look good.

She should be able to use a toner or something on it to tone down the orange in it so go back to her and dont' let her charge you another penny. Tell her everyone is saying how awful it looks (even if that isn't so). She should care enough about her reputation to fix it.

Have your mom phone her if you don't feel up to the task...I'm sure she will not have any qualms about getting you another appointment.

Call the stylist in the am and let her know that you would like the orange toned down in your hair. The job is not done until the client is satisfied. If my customers ask for something to be tweaked, it is part of the original service and there is no additional charge.
