It should just got more blonde, but try a strand test first on a piece of hair that can be covered like by the nape of your neck.

It depends on if your dark blonde hair is the natural color or not, and what your undertones of color are in your hair type. The products these days usually don't cause the orange look on dark blonde hair. However, I would suggest using a blonde hair glaze instead. Sun In is horrible for your hair. It will dry out your hair. You are better off using lemon juice if you have to give yourself highlights.

it will turn it blonder because,well, it may sound cofusing at first but your skin gets darker and your hair gets lighter.(watch out for skin cancer)

I used Sun-In a long time ago and it did turn my hair from dark blonde to very golden blonde.......you can use a blow dryer instead of the sun-light. You do have to do a few applications to get your desired blonde.

BUT.......it is very hard to change your hair color after you use it until it grows out. If you try to dye it another color it'll not turn out right (that's where the orange hair comes in!). I had to let the Sun-In'ed hair grow out enough to cut it off.

A very long process and I went awhile with two-toned hair, not attractive!
